Delivery & Returns Policy
Delivery
After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation from Link Sports Pty Ltd containing your order details (if you have provided your email address). We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering. We will attempt to send your goods via courier within 1-4 working days; however if goods are unavailable delivery will occurr once stock becomes available provided the items have been placed on backorder to your account. If you wish to query a delivery please contact us at sales@linksports.com.au.
Returns
If you receive an incorrect item we will provide either a credit or exchange if notified within 30 days of the invoiced date. Please email us at sales@linksports.com.au within that time if you are not satisfied with your purchase so that we can resolve any issues. This refund policy does not apply to goods which have been worn or used, damaged after delivery, or if any attempt has been made to alter the product or if they have been dropped or broken. All products must be returned in their original condition. All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer. We recommend that you return the product via registered post and that you pre-pay all postage. You assume any risk of lost, stolen or damaged goods during transit and therefore advise you take out shipment registration of insurance with your postal carrier. Link Sports Pty Ltd will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure.
Warranty policy and procedure
For warranty claims, please return within the manufacturer's products warranty period commencing from the date outlined on the original purchase receipt. Note: Shipping to Link Sports for warranty assessment is at the expense of the consumer, as outlined in the manufacturer's warranty policy provided in the relevant user manual.
We recommend supply of images and brief descriptions outlining damage, serial numbers and copies of original consumer purchase receipts, to allow for an initial assessment by our Customer Service team. Please supply this information via email to sales@linksports.com.au for assessment prior to arranging return to Link Sports.
Warranty claims will be responded to within two (2) business days.
The time to complete a warranty repair will vary depending on the relevant issue with the product and supplier approvals. We aim to turn around approved warranty repairs within 5 business days where parts are available locally. Where replacement parts are needed from overseas, such as with bicycle frames, this will be subject to the relevant supplier and factory.
Note: Product purchased outside of Australia (parallel imports) may incur a service charge in order to support the warranty claim. This reflects the operating cost of supporting claims for product purchased outside of our service area. The consumer always has a right to claim for repair or return from their original point of purchase, whether within or outside of Australia. All other parts and return shipping will be covered as per the manufacturer's warranty policy should your claim be approved.
Also note: Given the nature of the products we supply the consumer is responsible for a reasonable level of maintenance. Wear and tear and otherwise faults related to a lack of maintenance is not covered by warranty and service charges may apply. A quote will be supplied either in written or verbal form prior to undertaking any a service chargeable repair. Return express shipping is a minimum charge or products will be retained and disposed of at Link Sports discretion after 5 business days from issue of quotation of works.
