1) Warehouse Manager, based in Rydalmere

The Role

As our new Warehouse Manager, you will help us build an efficient Warehouse operation. You will have oversight of the entire inventory lifecycle. We strive for same day order process-and-dispatch with proactive customer contact in the event of delays and or stock shortfalls.  Excellent customer service is our aim.

Your Core Focus

  • Stock Management across a growing suite of brands from Parts and Accessories to complete bikes.
  • Coordinate with Product Managers and our Workshop technician to ensure inventory levels are deep and diverse.
  • Manage inbound shipments including liaising with forwarders, Customs, and other logistics providers
  • Accept stock and allocate all inbound goods; maintain Neto (Marapost Commerce Cloud) inventory management system. Use of Forklifts and/or Order Pickers to work at heights up to 6 metres.
  • Order warehouse supplies and maintain inventory to ensure continuous operations.
  • Build up and lead, our warehouse team and continually improve day-to-day functions.
  • Coordinate with the entire team to ensure sufficient workforce is in place before you need it and meet our same day processing goals.
  • Manage, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity

Your Skills and Experience

  • Excellent customer service with an attitude reflecting responsibility and proactiveness
  • Min 3 years of experience within the operation of a busy and growing product-distribution business, logistics company, or manufacturer
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (you won’t survive without Excel knowledge), Pick-and-Pack software and processes, and data management applications; e-Commerce platforms (such as Neto, Shopify).
  • Experience with ERP or Inventory management systems and B2B platforms
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, where team work is crucial.
  • Flair for continuous improvement
  • Forklift license and or Man Up certificate highly desirable. Working at heights will be required
  • Knowledge of, and interest in, bicycles - particularly MTB - a big plus!

2) E-Commerce Coordinator; based in Rydalmere

Link Sports (linksports.com.au) is a Sydney-based importer of high quality cycling products.

Founded in 2010, our objective is to import superior brands to the Australian and New Zealand markets, whilst setting competitive retail prices and sustainable wholesale margins.

We provide excellent service to our customers and have seek to form long lasting relationships with our industry partners and retailers.

Our brands are tried and tested in-house as we use what we sell – all our team are keen cyclists! Which we are working hard to expand and grow with the addition of complete bikes and innovated brands from around the world.

In line with our growth, we now need someone to join Link Sports as our E-Commerce Coordinator.

The Role 

As our New E-commerce Coordinator, you will fully utilise your strong e-Commerce and system administration expertise to streamline product setup; best utilise data analytics; proactively to further baluster our growth and lead transformational change.

You will be a strategic and technical member of the team who can develop and implement all digital activities and manage assets to stamp your ownership and influence on this crucial role within the Link Sports team.

We need your expertise to improve on our current processes and move us towards best practice

Your Core Focus

  • Manage and maintain our e-Commerce platforms, which includes but isn’t limited to uploading/updating brand/product pages, create landing pages and collections, and project manage development updates to improve the customer experience.
  • Source, collate, manipulate, and prepare product information from both suppliers, product managers and other sources to populate all systems
  • Assist with the development of functionality and tools within our platforms to enhance our customer buying experiences. Web developer skillsets highly regarded but not essential.
    • Ability to develop user requirements and work with both in-house and freelance resources is essential.
  • Be able to develop a plan; implement each step to produce the targeted outcomes you set. This may be to enhance system functionality and performance; continuously improve on day-to-day processes, implement new marketing and communication initiatives, investigate, assess and implement new customer requirements with regards to supply and receipt of data and other system related initiatives
  • Manage and develop creative asset, from product shots to how-to videos and social content.
  • Develop strong relationships cross-functionally, including Product Management, Customer Service and Operations to ensure seamless order lifecycle and system performance.
  • Opportunity to influence and build Link’s Marketing capabilities and strategy.
  • Your secondary focus will be to help manage online and telephone sales. Working as part of the customer service team

Your Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated track record in similar roles with minimum 3 years of experience
  • Relevant university qualifications well regarded but not essential
  • Experience in managing Shopify, Neto or similar e-commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems such as MYOB and or XERO from an administrator and not an accountant point of view.
  • Confidence with bulk data preparation, preferably via Excel essential.
  • Knowledge of SEO and website optimisation well regarded
  • Problem solvers and team players work best in our small team
  • Strong planning, project management and organisational skills with exceptional eye for detail is key.
  • A focus on service delivery is a must for our customer centric business.

3) Part Time- Administration and Bookkeeping (Job Share), based in Rydalmere

The Role 

You know what’s involved! and you know it takes a special person to do AR/AP and bookkeeping. We want your peculiar focus on detail, your doggedness in getting things just right and paid on time, coupled with your Mother Teresa levels of patience with your annoying team members (particularly with me).

The Good news is we have just that person on deck already and Penny is awesome. We just need some help with both day to day and projects as we’ve recently booted MYOB and moved to Xero. Deepen our capacity and process knowledge so functions don’t go backwards during holidays, and times of peak workflows.

This is a job share, permanent part time. Initially work a 3 to 4 day week so we can facilitate training and hand over. Then reduce to 3 days with potential to reduce to 2 days.

Your Core Focus

  • Reconcile / accounts payable and receivable
  • Call customers for inwards, arrange to settle and record outwards
  • Bank reconciliations and raise relevant book entries
  • More reconciliations
  • Prepare, reconcile and issue monthly client statements
  • Address customer queries as they are raised
  • Undertake customer calls to obtain payment updates and follow ups
  • Office admin. daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly.
  • On all occasions work hand in hand with your job share buddy to coordinate and minimise process gaps and tasks falling between the cracks.

Your Secondary role

  • Take telephone orders and address customer queries, and or identify best team member to address the query.
  • Assist the warehouse team as needed. It’s a small team, in an import business so all hands on deck when the containers land, and backorders need to be processed.

Your Skills and Experience

  • +5 years’ experience in similar roles within the Construction, Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics, Finance, education industries. Suits return to work parent or down scaling work/life balance devotee.
  • Sufficient Computer literacy, Excel is your friend, working knowledge of Xero / MYOB or equivalent a must
  • Exposure to e-Commerce platforms and processes well regarded.
  • Teamwork and patience. The team all understand the waste associated with errors and double handing. But, we are all human
  • Superior attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving skills
  • You know through experience that mistakes are inevitable, but hate making them yourself. The good news is most of Link’s team do as well.
